Text Receipts — Terms and Conditions

These terms apply when you give the restaurant you visited your mobile number so your receipt can be texted to you. The restaurant uses RealPOS, a point-of-sale system, to send it.

Last updated 6 November 2026

The short version

1. What you are agreeing to

When you give your mobile number to the restaurant you visited and ask for your receipt by text, you agree to receive text messages at that number from the restaurant, sent using RealPOS.

Giving your number is entirely your choice. You can always ask for a printed receipt or an emailed one instead, and the restaurant will provide it.

2. What you will receive

3. Message frequency

One message per receipt you ask for. Any offers from the restaurant are occasional and vary; there is no fixed schedule or number.

4. Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply. These messages are sent as standard text messages, and your mobile carrier may charge you for receiving them according to your own plan. RealPOS and the restaurant do not charge you anything for this service.

5. How to stop messages

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving all texts at that number. You will receive one confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and nothing after it.

To start again later, simply ask for a receipt by text next time you visit, or reply START.

6. How to get help

Reply HELP to any message, or contact the restaurant directly. For questions about the messaging service itself, email support@realpos.net.

7. Carriers and delivery

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier and your device, and neither RealPOS nor the restaurant can guarantee that every message arrives.

8. Your number and your privacy

Your number is used to send you what is described above and nothing else. It is never sold, rented or shared with any third party for that party's own marketing. The full detail is in the Privacy Policy.

9. Changes

These terms may be updated. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and the current version always lives at terms.realpos.net/terms.
